A truly unique Leonard of Paris dress! Done in the lightest silk jersey printed with tiny naive flowers on a black background. Leonard logo throughout. Ruched high turtleneck, angled waist panel that is ruched along with the fitted ruched cuffs on the sleeves. Puffed shoulders with shoulder pads. Inner waistband secures the draped almost dropwaist skirt and panel. Back zipper, side zipper and snaps. Unlined. We have five of these from the same owner who shipped at Margaret's of Lubbock Texas.
Leonard of Paris was established in the late 1940's, but wasn't until the 1970's that they started developing the iconic silk jersey dresses on par with Pucci. The designer Daniel Tribouillard said "they travel easy and can be packed in a cigarette case" Original prices were between $200-$5000 in the 1980's.
