The most unique and chic 1930's/1940's three piece dress that can also be worn as a jacket! The jacket/dress is done in a light, fine wool and appliqued with shiny satin swirl motifs on the front, sleeves and back. It fully unzips. High collar is rolled with a lurex jacquard that is also on the gilet that is separate. The gilet is done in the lurex jacquard and has a mesh background and elastic on the waist. Black slip is separate. The jacket/dress has a front metal zip and large shoulder pads. Unlined.
From the estate of Margaret Whiting of Cheyenne Wyoming. Her husband was the State Engineer and also ran for governor. They lived at 510 E 22nd St in Cheyenne. (google it...it is a stunning home!)
