Luxe Leonard of Paris dress that has original tags and an extra button! Done in the lightest silk jersey printed with fruit and flowers on a black background. Leonard logos throughout. Wide batwing sleeves with snug cuffs. Draped cowl neckline, HUGE covered buttons on the shoulders and draped bodice that blousons over the skirt. Small shoulder pads. Back zipper. Unlined. Made in France. We have five of these from the same owner who shipped at Margaret's of Lubbock Texas.
Leonard of Paris was established in the late 1940's, but wasn't until the 1970's that they started developing the iconic silk jersey dresses on par with Pucci. The designer Daniel Tribouillard said "they travel easy and can be packed in a cigarette case" Original prices were between $200-$5000 in the 1980's.
