A truly incredible Leonard of Paris dress! Done in the lightest silk jersey printed with orchids and monstera leaves on a lipstick red background. Leonard logos throughout. Wide batwing sleeves with snug cuffs. Slim columnar shape with a self belt with gold ends to tie around waist. Back zipper. Unlined. We have five of these from the same owner who shipped at Margaret's of Lubbock Texas. Small shoulder pads.
Leonard of Paris was established in the late 1940's, but wasn't until the 1970's that they started developing the iconic silk jersey dresses on par with Pucci. The designer Daniel Tribouillard said "they travel easy and can be packed in a cigarette case" Original prices were between $200-$5000 in the 1980's.
