Covetable 1920's pistachio dress! Done in a fine sheer silk, it has a number of stunning details like the horizontal folds at the waist, latticework detailing below and the fabulous wavy crimping that releases to accordian pleats on the skirt. Pullover style with snaps at the shoulders. Cuffs have the latticework detailing and snaps. Attached hip ties. Unlined.
From the estate of Margaret Whiting of Cheyenne Wyoming. Her husband was the State Engineer and also ran for governor. They lived at 510 E 22nd St in Cheyenne. (google it...it is a stunning home!)

Condition: Very Good Vintage: two tiny holes at the front of skirt semi-hidden under the pleats (see last pic) and three pindot holes in back of skirt. Mottled discolorations on the neckline, back and on the side of skirt. These are faint but can be seen in certain lights. The side discolorations are on in the pleats and are hidden somewhat.
