Rare 1920's dress! Done in a matte silk cloque and a shinier silk satin. TONS of buttons on the bodice with a few that are operative on the front. Exquisite embroidery on the collar and attached ties. Shiny panel floats over the skirt portion in a pointed v shape. Covered buttons and loops on the sleeves. Pullover style. Unlined but heavy and not sheer.
From the estate of Margaret Whiting of Cheyenne Wyoming. Her husband was the State Engineer and also ran for governor. They lived at 510 E 22nd St in Cheyenne. (google it...it is a stunning home!)
